This outfit is simply THE BEST. Service + Parts + Sales! Always there for me! I couldn't be more grateful! If I could give them more than 5 stars I would.
I bought an Exmark 72 inch with bagger from Dave Stephen, he was excellent throughout the transaction in guiding me in my purchase. Dave took the time to go above and beyond, Voss Bros. keep up the great customer service!
Poor service. Want to buy a new john deere zero turn... was like pulling teeth trying to get anyone to work with me. Had to email multiple times to get a response then they tried to squeeze every last dollar from me. I ended up passing working with them after I'd been a customer since 2016. It's wild because Lowes now sells the same John Deere tractors they sell, often with better deals (for instance, I can get the same tractor for cheaper (Lowes isn't charging for delivery) and get an 8-cu feet cart thrown in for free)
I have an older John Deere 318 lawn tractor that was leaking oil. I went to the counter at Voss Brothers and asked if they would work on this and was told yes and the fee would be $85 to pick it up 5 miles away. They picked it up and I didn't hear from them for 10 days, so I called. I was told that the engine had low compression in both cylinders and would need to be rebuilt or replaced and they were not capable of doing the work. They wanted $213 to tell me that my tractor was junk. I complained about the price and they came down to $185. I found a guy 2 hours away who works on older John Deere tractors. I took it to him and told him what Voss Brothers told me. He checked the compression while I stood there and said it was fine. He looked at the engine and said it needed a new oil bracket gasket and he would have to pull the engine to change it. A few days later he texted me that my tractor is fixed and the total cost is $205. Less that what Voss Brothers wanted to lie to me that my tractor is beyond repair. They just lost a customer!
